Overview

This project strategically targets the inefficiencies in the hiring process, addressing the need for a platform that accelerates applications for job seekers and simplifies hiring for HR professionals through AI-powered matching. The primary end-users are job seekers looking for faster, more personalized applications and hiring managers seeking high-quality candidates with minimal effort. The platform is designed for seamless accessibility across web and mobile, while adhering to technical considerations such as data security, scalability, and integration with existing HR systems.

The Challenge

Only 8 out of 62 respondents expressed satisfaction with their current job search platforms, highlighting a significant gap in user satisfaction. This frustration with existing solutions is precisely why we created SwiftJobs—to revolutionize the job search experience by making applications faster for job seekers and hiring easier for HR professionals through AI-powered matching.

The Challenge pt .2

The research highlights the critical pain points in the job search process, with the most common challenges being a lack of employer responses (74%), the need to customize resumes for each job (71%), and time-consuming applications (68%). Additionally, 56% of respondents struggle to find relevant job listings, while 23% face difficulties managing applications and follow-ups. These insights underscore the inefficiencies and frustrations job seekers experience, driving the need for SwiftJobs' streamlined, AI-powered solution to simplify and enhance the job search journey.

The Solution

SwiftJobs bridges the gap by offering an intuitive platform that accelerates job applications for seekers and simplifies hiring for HR. Through AI-powered matching, SwiftJobs ensures job seekers are connected with opportunities tailored to their skills and goals while helping employers identify top talent quickly and efficiently. With gamified applications and seamless integration, SwiftJobs transforms the job search process into a faster, more engaging, and effective experience for everyone involved.

User Research: Summary

SwiftJobs was developed through in-depth mixed method research involving students, founders, former founders, university staff, unemployed individuals, and career switchers. Using interviews, surveys, focus groups, and observational studies, we uncovered shared frustrations, including time-consuming applications, difficulty finding relevant opportunities, and lack of feedback from employers. This research validated the need for a platform that simplifies and accelerates the job search process, providing tailored solutions for diverse user groups through AI-powered matching and job tracking features.
